- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Add flour and stir until mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let cool, then carefully cut tops off.
- Whip cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in coconut and fill the puffs.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- These cream puffs can be made ahead and filled just before serving.
- Store filled puffs in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours.
- For an extra touch, sprinkle with toasted coconut on top.
