A delicious and tender brisket taco recipe that will wow your guests.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the brisket with paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Sear the brisket in the skillet until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the brisket to a roasting pan and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  8. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat.
  9. Serve the sliced brisket on the tortillas topped with onions, cilantro, and lime juice.
