- 3 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the brisket with paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Sear the brisket in the skillet until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer the brisket to a roasting pan and cover tightly with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat.
- Serve the sliced brisket on the tortillas topped with onions, cilantro, and lime juice.
